MOVIES

I've received many requests to produce airline/aviation movie clips, so here they are. Over the last few months I've been collecting video clips and attempting to teach myself how to creatively use the iMovie function on my computer. Remember, these are amateur productions that will improve with experience... I hope. They were a lot of fun to create and I hope that they give you some insight to life in a cockpit. I hope many more will follow, including flying in a DC-3, Stearman, 747 and other interesting aircraft.  Let me know what you think.

Thanks,   Rand

Manchester to Detroit, 3:41. This is a flight aboard an Airbus A-320. Experience flight aboard the latest and most sophisticated "fly by wire" "glass cockpit" aircraft in the industry, with side stick controllers and CAT III capability. But what's the feature most appreciated by the pilots? The stowable tray table!

Commuting Home, 4:47. After completing my own five day trip, with layovers in Maui and Seattle, I run to catch my commuting flight home aboard another A-320. Break out at Manchester at about 500 feet in light rain and fog, as the crew expertly maneuvers for a landing.

Enough of the large plane stuff, let's take my J-3 Cub out for a little low & slow around New England. And now my pitch! Want to learn more about tailwheel flying? Than take a look at my tailwheel instruction manual under the TAILWHEEL MANUAL tab.

Coming Soon Are you a DC-3 lover? Than you'll love walking around and learning about Mike Farrey's 1943 DC-3A, painted in a 1957 Northeast Airlines livery.

Coming Soon. Join John Stahl and me for a flight aboard his beautifully restored, 1943 Stearman PT-17, experiencing loops and rolls. You haven't lived until you've been upside down in an antique, open cockpit biplane.
